dissoLab Software
Cloud predictive modeling platform for simulation of in vitro release profiles.

Microstructure Informed Drug Dissolution and Release Modeling
dissoLab is an advanced simulation platform, designed to deliver bio-relevant in vitro dissolution and drug release profiles. By integrating microstructure details from imaging of real-world samples with cutting-edge simulation algorithms, dissoLab provides powerful tools to support analytical, formulation, process, CMC, release testing, and regulatory filing across different stages of pharmaceutical development.
Bench A
Conceptual stage investigations on the impact of size, shape, and solubility, predicted before materials are manufactured.
Bench B
Early stage evaluations using particle size measurements such as laser diffraction from limited initial materials.
Bench C
Dissolution profile prediction from 2D imaging data, such as SEM and light microscopy, after generative AI synthesis in 3D.
dissoLab supports four versatile simulation inputs, allowing users to tailor their analysis based on available data. It can predict dissolution without any materials made, making it ideal for early-stage formulation development. When a small amount of initial materials were made, dissoLab can either use laser diffraction particle size measurements, or 2D imaging data to incorporate real particle morphology into dissolution prediction. For the most detailed analysis, 3D image-based simulations utilize volumetric imaging data to reflect the full complexity of drug product and drug substance microstructures.
Accelerate Testing and Formulation Design
dissoLab empowers scientists and researchers to make data-driven decisions with confidence, reducing the need for extensive physical testing while accelerating the path from early formulation to product dvelopment. Explore how dissoLab can transform your approach to dissolution method development and support your innovation journey. For more information check out the dissoLab launch webinar.
Bridging Theory and Experimentation
Whether working with minimal data or high resolution microscopy, the platform bridges the gap between theoretical models and experimental results, providing deeper insights into how particle size, morphology, and microstructure influence dissolution rates. The accompanying image illustrates dissoLab’s capabilities, showing the predicted profiles of four different particle size batches. The platform accurately simulates real-world dissolution dynamics, offering unparalleled clarity in formulation development, quality control, and product optimization.
